SUMMARY:Ron Morehead Sierra Sasquatch Experience/Fire Side BBQ
DESCRIPTION:Join us on the 29th/30th of September for 1 night and 2 days with Ron Morehead. This limited event will host 15 people who would like a once in a lifetime opportunity with a true legend of Sasquatch research. \nSeptember 29th\, we will meet at approx. 9am for a photo shoot in the Umpqua National Forest for a re-creation of the Sierra Sounds Camp. This will be your chance to stand with Ron in the woods\, in 1970’s attire (if you choose to wear a costume) and re-create that iconic moment of Sasquatch in the company of you and Ron as you peer outside the rustic shelter. Yes\, just like Ron and Al Berry did all those years ago. The life-like Sasquatch will be as close to the real thing as we can manage. No cardboard cut out here. You then will have your photo taken by Jeff Johnston\, a professional camera operator\, who’s resume extends into the Sasquatch world as a prior lead camera operator for the Autumn Williams documentary “Oregon Bigfoot-search for living legend”. A 8×10 glossy of your photo will be framed and delivered the following day. \nThen at approx. 5pm-9pm we will meet back up at a secluded location for a private BBQ/campfire with provided beverages and dinner. Facilities will be provided and wheel chair access/walker access available. Vegetarian options will be provided to those who send a request to strangebrau@gmail.com. \nThere will be no outside alcohol/drug use of any kind permitted at campfire/bbq. If not followed\, you will be asked to leave without refund as a guest to a private event.\nAt 9:30 PM until the morning- you will then have the option to follow us into a secluded/undisclosed area for a night hike. A shuttle will not be provided to this location. All wheel drive is recommended and cold weather gear should be packed. The area is known for its historical significance to Cottage Grove\, Oregon as well as Sasquatch interaction. You will not have to be an experienced hiker for this\, just prepared for being in the woods. A single FlIR will be available as well as night vision and Tascam recorder. \nOn the afternoon of the 30th Ron will personally autograph the Sierra recreation photo with you by 2pm. A file of your image will be sent to you for reproduction\, as well.
